hey guys,
just wondering if i could run a denco t42 patrol turbo on my B series 3.0 diesel, i know ill get turbo lag but a friend has told me ill have heaps more torque... is this true??
any info would be great.

TD42 turbo on 3.0 litre will be alright,

but why not get a 13bt turbo?
hands and mums dont count!!!

It's evolution of your B engine .. with factory turbo and dorect injected ..

I thought the turbo from a TD42 is huge for your aplication and maybe the AR ( I don't know the specific AR numbers for this turbo ) in the turbine side it's huge for the aire displacement of the B engine ..

It means you can't get proper boost .. at low rpms ..

why not just run something a little more common , like a t3 or t4
