SAS Front Diff

Iv got a toyota front diff i can have, and wondering if its useful for anything....SAS????

i only know its the front diff out of a 86 model 2.4L Diesel Hilux LN65R disc brake

if anyone would know if its worth holding on for the future, then ill keep it otherwise i wont.

does anyone know if i can use this diff for anything???

its low pinion so thats a downer, i have no idea of the diff gears either... no harm though in mucking around.

Weld diff togeather make a diff lock and switch it for when you go off-road ;)

hey man, pretty sure that it would be 4.88's. pull the centre out, mark a tooth on the crown wheel, turn the flange by hand and count how many turns you make befor the crown comes all the way around. i had one, but we put it into a buggy....

yeh it would be sweet if it had 4.88. But i think, after reading a liuttle in the yota section it is probably 4.5 and also its low pinion... dunon what to do with it.

prob just sell it,

so theres the chance to swap the centre to a high pinion 4.88 centre... means i gotta buy the rest of that though. Dunno, it might just sit in the backyard until i or someone else wants to use it.
