What sucks worse is when you have already sent your money in and have argued and begged your boss to take your holidays in August! :bad-words:

So what is the actual date? CCDA newsletter says 16-18 Nov, CCDA calendar says 1st weekend Nov, entry form still says 24-26 August.

yeah but in () is "of all makes"

The way I read what Ruffy posted was he heard they were looking at running 2 classes, one being "GQ Class" but opened to all makes like I suggested in the GQ Class thread.

If its meant to be only one class being GQ class but opened to all makes then I don't think that would be very good for vic winch this year.

Some noggan at the ATECO tried to tell us that this year the Vic winch was only open to vehicles similar spec'd to the GQ class that has been of discussion.
I didn't say it was crap, I said i hope that it is crap (what we were told) as i am entering in the mule which is about as extended from GQ class as you can get.
I'll just enter and find out i spose.

My gripe with this sport, you can never find out whose running an event or get details other than what's on the flyer

i do believe this is the minimum req for the event, nothing stopping a challenge class car entering. the past 3 years the event has been won by challenge class vehicles and many others have entered
