to bodylift or not to bodylift

i have a GQ swb and dont know which way to go. just put 35 pedes on with 3 inch suspension lift. it sits good and dont wanna make any taller. im sure others have come across this. will i get full flex or will it hit guards hard. i preffer no body and cut guards heaps. will this work?

Hey Pete, put an old flogged-out set of 35's on with the 3" lift. Scream it up and down a couple of select tracks. Then you'll know exactly where to cut the guards. Just follow the folds.

body lift can do more then just clearence issues, but each his own

If you just guard chop you may have to modify bump stops to prevent the rears hitting the inner guard, possibly also the fronts.

If I remeber correctly the drivers side rear pulls across but this can be limited wioth adjustable panhards.

Too long since I had a GQ without bodylift....

I thought I seen more than one petegq and gqpete. But I guess this is hoon then.
And do GQ's come without body lifts do they.

Chop guards and make the bump stops slightly bigger.
Also guessing this is for GQ racing.
