So - I have an arb diff breather kit, yet somehow water has still gotten into my diffs. Something to do with the stupid amount of time that my poor zook spends in mud and creeks.........
Should I just drop the oil and put in some fresh stuff, or should I strip out the wheel bearings, cv's etc and repack the entire lot?
The lazy part of me wants to just change the oil and throw some fresh grease into the hubs and wait until the bearings shag out before I strip it all down.
What do you guys think? Is there a huge danger of wrecking my cv's if I dont repack them now?
Cheers all, Wellsey.

Water in diff

For the sake of a few hours and a lil grease n oil id be repacking the lot.
and silicon everything up when you put it back together.
I also use marine grease in my bearings as it stops the ingress of water and doesnt break down when it does get water in it.
Also try not to drive straight into water after a big drive as when the diffs hot it will just suck it in
