Brake question after lift.

Post by buddha »

Last week i installed new dobinson 4" coils and tough dog 4" big bore adjustables. Although the brake lines were a tad tight GQ handled great.
Yesterday i replaced brake lines with tough dog extended lines. After we bled the brakes i was reversing and noticed my handbrake light was on, but the handbrake had been released to back out. Can anyone tell my why this would happen?
Brakes were bled with the handbrake on, could this be the problem?

u didnt just bleed the master cylinder dry when u bled it? low fluid level with ur brakes will cause that light to come on, bleedin ur breaks with the handbreak on wont affect anything. also check ur handbreak lever the switch may be just stuck on

the handbrake works on ur tailshaft, completely independant of the braking system.

isnt the handbrake a drum type brake on the tailshaft? :?
i dont think it would have much to do with the rest of the braking system
