If advertised right you could have a couple of thousand sectators over the weekend
My thoughts
yep..and we would need 2000 people through the gates to pay for that sign alone for one month of advertising..they arent all that cheap you know....then we still have to cover all the other costs

we will be doing advertising for this event...we only confirmed the venue one week ago and are getting all forms and flyers done up as we speak....in fact seeing as you are so keen to help how about pming me your address and i will send you some flyers down that you could place in some local takeaway shops, 4wd shops, servos etc etc...

Sam/Dave, get onto Sunrise and have them out there on the Friday morning for the weather and also 7 news for the Thursday night.. They do live crosses all over the place for different things.

Could also try 10 news, Tim Bailey does the same thing.

It's free, and good exposure. Can't hurt.

jeez ben you guys need to get out of Engadine, now you've forgotten how to read... :D

surely the producers would be up for that, i don't think it would cost anything more than an early wake up for the boys.

We'll be bringing spectators along as well.

I'll be bringing Ann of course, Troy will be bringing Christina. Our usual crew of Pete, Bill and Deborah will be coming along. Also have about 5 or 6 other mates booked in so far.

I just posted an email to the guys from Blokesworld which some of you may have watched on foxtel. They show all kinds of motorsport events, you never know, they might be interested in giving the event some airtime on their programme. I'll let you know if I hear back from them.
