My Green Machine is no comp rig. It will see woodpecker and maybe XRCC modified class but thats about it. I dont see it being up there with the best of aus.

It all depends on the driver, i'm sure that pete's, glen's, sam's and cheezie rigs would do the same sorts of tracks if they drove the same lines......

I voted for Swampa only because of the number of comps it has won and placed in.
The other trucks are awesome but Pete has won more over a longer period but it's great to see the competition closing in which makes it more interesting for the spectator.

Not one of the rigs listed could have managed a place in the top ten of
the last OBC.
There are two distinctly different types of comps running in Aus' these days.... perhaps two polls are needed? ;)

If I had to choose out of this selection I would take the MAV thing. But would prefere to have On Tracks green GQ ute. 206rwKW, and you can drive it on the road and off it.

I saw BJ's new rig drive up the front face of a forklift and sit there without even labouring for a second. Although I am told that Sam Os disco beat it in a low range race off

Thats probably right!

There are many hardcore guys in Australia, including the BIG sydneysiders, and melbournians, these guys have been on the scene for a long time and havge been placing well over thier individual competitive careers. This makes them not only consistent, but powerful on the comp scene. The outerlimits guys are relative newcomers to the rock crawling.

I would pay to see all these guys battle it out for the supremacy and the chance to say they are the best in the country. I think it would make for an awesome competition. Sorta like a tufftruck, or something but it got postponed!

All the guys mentioned have a lot of competition experience, and very capable and dedicated rigs. I do not think I could compete with them as it stands at the moment. I love to drive and make a show for the crowd, but winning an event takes something entirely different, something I do plan to do but these guys and im sure hundreds of others around the country, have not only the cars but the driving experience to do it. Nerves, the crowd and other put offs can make it very difficult, which is where experience comes in.

I am sure there are hundreds of people around the country in the running for best driver or best car, but I am even more confident that those that are there now, the dobbins and the antunacs, have the top level competition experience and certainly the ability to keep winning! Let's just hope it gets a lot closer and makes for a good competition.

i was talking to cheezy at the 4wd show, i cant wait to see that 402 cubic inches of small block chev reving at 8000rpm. man it looked tuff with those 46's on too. did anyone else notice he had no back brakes and a few studs missing?
he was saying hes building an outback truck too. 350 chev with twin turbos and intercooled, all stuffed into a nissan tray. he estimated 1000hp
