Engel, I've got a 40L and am using it as a bar fridge next to me now and love it.

I have a Bushranger and it works fine, but I wish I had spent the extra and bought an Engel. The LCD display on the bushranger melted when it was in the back of the car on a hot day. It was fixed under warranty but it's just another thing that can go wrong. I was advised by Bushranger not to leave it in direct sunlight in the car on a hot day. I have mates that leave their Engel on the tray of their ute and had another that rolled their 4b with the fridge in it and none of them have missed a beat. IMO go the Engel, or you can buy my Bushranger off me and I'll get the Engel. :)

Has been great bar two occassions up at Cape York when I really needed it. Shut down on two occassions for around a day and then started working again. Took it back to Engel rep who 'tested' it over a few weeks and said it was fine. No problems since but was pretty peeved at the time. Doesn't give me a lot of confidence for the next big trip.

It would have not worked due to low voltage in the fridge battery.....Yea I know your battery was fine yada yada yada.
Thought it may have been that but multimeter test at the time showed voltage was fine...?
