What time's is it kicking off to the public both days?
Which day is better for general viewing (bringing a couple of non4x4 mates)
And... is the entrance road still in the same condition as last year? we're coming in a subaru brumby with no mod's so if it's any worse might have to suss out a different car.
Cheers

The action starts about 8.30am each day. I believe the car parking is all 2wd access this year. Should be good action to see both days, Saturday has more stages but more walking if you want to see everything.
I also hear that there will be registration and scrutineering in the safeway carpark from lunchtime onwards. So if your in the area drop in for a look, should be good.

The action starts on Friday with a Show and Shine in the Safeway Carpark in Warragul from 12:00 noon through to 5:00 pm. Teams will undergo scruitineering and be available to meet the public.
Friday night there are 4 stages (Firday is closed to the public). Unfortunately due to the wet conditions the tracks are extremely slippery so I expect some trucks will get bent on Friday night (and across the weekend) as teams slide off the tracks and into the scrub
Saturday competiton will start at 8:30 am. there are 6 stages running and shuttle buses to help transport people around the property. the shuttle buses will run from the front gate and right around. See some new stages as well as some existing ones, but rest assured all will be exciting. Saturday is expected to finish around 4:30.
Sunday will start at 8:30 am. There will be 4 stages, with 2 tracks running side by side, then another 2 and then the dash for cash. A show and grine will be working throughout the day as teams await their turn and finally results are announced. All the action is in one spot so you wont have to move too far at all. The back car park will be available for vehicles with good tyres. It is the gate controllers call as to whether you get to drive to the rear car park or have to take the shuttle bus. No arguments please.
It is a family friendly event so please no alcohol to be consumed on site.
Entry is $15 per person per day. Kids under 16 are free.
Same property as last year. No Spectator camping on site.

We're staying in a motel this year. Last year we swagged it in a caravan park and it was so cold.
Also for anyone staying in Warragul the night life in town last year went off! We're def hitting it up again!

Stages should be nice and wet, lots of panel damage this weekend.
All the best to those that are competing.

TIGGR6 - Got the plates but not the car...
That was so cold camping there last time. Wind nearly blew the swag away. Might have to think about camping on the stage Fri night and just travel for food.weeman wrote:its gonna be freezing this weekend apparently camping is on the top paddock for competitors/marshals/media...

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....
Spoony, Ross, Mike (and partners) here, we flew down today, arrived in Warragul tonight(thursday) Both cars are on the way down on the tow truck, at Forbes at the moment. Staying at a motel in town, starting to think might be coming back here for some of he nights if its too cold out camping. Will head out to the site in the morning for a look and meet the tow truck back here at midday at Warragul for scrutineering. We have a lap top here so will keep you Sunshine Coast supporters up to date with our weekend out. Should be a lot of fun.. Cheers all.
