Just trying to gauge a few opinions and methods(s) here......
Just got hold of a 4wd systems auto locker for the front of my GQ pootrol. The discussion of whether they're sh#t or not is irrelevant, after enough reading I've decided it's right for my needs/budget (I'm at uni full time and only work weekends... so the truck is built on a budget these days). Combined with my unbeatable factory rear locker it should pwn hard imo.
To get the thing installed.... I'm not sure whether to just drop the truck off at miscellaneous 4wd mechanic pay $$$$ and pick it up later, or take the diff centre out.. get it fitted... put it back in myself with the idea being I'll save some coin. The problem being I've never yanked a diff centre out of my truck.
I do all the servicing, have changed brake pads, installed teh suspension's , did 9/10th's of the turbo install and most of the quater panel chop

I'm all loaded up with a gregories workshop ditty soooo onto the questions..How hard is it to rip out ? Got any Tips ? Is there a quick way
