End Of The Road - Jabber For Sale.
Ok I posted here to give the Mitsi guys first crack.
I've decided to get out of the hardcore scene and sell the Jabber.
With 3 boys all doing various activities, increasing work comittments & study I just don't have the time anymore.
My heart is saying nooooooo but my head is saying do the sensible thing.
Summary : -
- 93 NH lwb 3.0 V6 5sp white GLS
- 165K 3.0 V6 (probly could do with the valve stem seal replacement) has had new timing belt/tensioner & water pump
- 2.85 t/case gears
- 2" body lft
- custom 5 link front coil suspension
- custom 4 link A frame rear suspension
- anti rock (adjustable rear swaybar)
- Tough Dog big bore adjustable shocks
- 140 ltr long range tank modified for body lift
- custom rock sliders (set up as air tanks)
- custom rear tube bar with LED lights
- custom centre crossmember with Panzer style t/case bash plate
- front Hilux axle with 5.29 high pinion ratio & ARB locker
- Haultec CV's
- slotted DBA front rotors with V6 4 Runner calipers
- rear Mitsi axle 5.29 & ARB locker
- TJM T-15 steel bullbar (needs some repair)
- 9000lb Warn low mount with 40mtr of plasma
- TJM snorkel
- Genie extractors with 2.25" exhaust, high flow cat & muffler
- ARB dual battery system
- new custom 3 core radiator
- 2nd 10" thermo fan
- 33"x12.5x15" BFG muddies (50%) x 4 on white steelies
- factory suspension seats
- Kenwood CD/tape stereo (good unit)
Vehicle starts and runs just fine.
Has a broken left hand rear axle but can supply a spare.
Many other extra's and new parts - too numerous too mention
Vehicle has been rolled and declared a repairable write off - we believe the chassis is still straight.
Make a great donor or body swap vehicle.
This vehicle is one of a kind and will be sold as is (not parted).
Price = $7000 negotiable (depending on parts).
PM for any other details.

What a buy, the front end alone is worth that.
If you are handy, you could re-shell this beast your self and walk away a winner.
I would buy this myself for the missus but I would hate her to have a more capable rig than me.
All crap aside, my gut sank when Frank told me he was selling, and yes its in my factory ATM so Im not letting it out of here unless you are gunna do the Paj justice as Frank has put his heart and soul into this work of art.
It has to go to a good home, (I will cop shyt for saying this) It may be a Paj but its one of the best rigs we have done and it will kick any Toyissanzoofordens ass any day of the week.
$7000 Shyt its got $30K +++ worth of extras and months of work and R+D gone into this vehicle. It would owe me over $10K in R+D alone. It truly is a one of a kind and has been featured in several 4WD mags.
I had better stop as the tears are welling up, so please just buy this Work of art of Franks self expression.

NOW ABLE TOO SAY WHAT I WANT WITHOUT FEAR OF LOOSING SALES.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

Thanks Cheezy, the two hardest things I've ever had to do was put my beloved dog to sleep some years ago (Alaskan Malamute) and now to sell the Jabber.
The Jabber was absolutely bog standard when I bought it the original owner would have a heart attack if he saw it.
I really would prefer someone to buy the thing whole and keep it going - I would just luv to see it in comps etc.
The amount of time, research, experimentation that has gone into this truck is incredible.
Cheezy was the only one willing to touch it and what a result !!!
Everywhere I go it attracted major attention as it is one of a kind and offroad is a REAL weapon.
I can also help the new owner with workshop manuals, tech data etc I also have a long list of spares that goes with it - axles, hoses, CV's, hubs, seals and other bits & pieces.

That's sad news Frank
I can believe it was a difficult decision to make,
unfortunately you can never get back what you put into
a modified vehicle, someone is going to get a bargain.
Just wish I could afford it
All the best with your future plans,
Kev.

Sorry to hear it has to go Frank - I imagine it was an agonising decision.
Are you keeping the NL for touring, or the Gen 3?
Hopefully, we'll see an awesome new vehicle on the comp scene.

Scott, the Gen 3 is the missus = not to be tampered with (strictly for family duties long trips etc).
I'll keep the NJ 3.5 for a little while - it's having the 3.15 t/case put in at the moment and there's some wiring I have to fix up but thats about all I'll do to it.
I'll probly be selling that and my Verada wagon early next year and getting a new model Triton diesel (2nd hand) and set that up just for touring/camping trips but it will be a daily driver.
I was looking at one yesterday and the rear leg room is impressive.
I always luved the dual cab utes for versatility but the rear leg room always put me off them. The new shape Triton has pretty much addressed that and with the 3.2 diesel (only comes in a 5sp) and weighing a few hundred kg less than the Paj it will go even better.
It still has the box chassis and this model has front coils so ride is much better than the torsion bar fronts.
I think Mitsi have done a great job with this Triton.
Oh and of course I'll be getting one with the factory locker - that is no 1 pre-requisite !!!!

Triton Auto 3.2 will be available next month. Only a four speed auto but should still be impressive.Bitsamissin wrote:Triton has pretty much addressed that and with the 3.2 diesel (only comes in a 5sp) and weighing a few hundred kg less than the Paj it will go even better.

Wow, Frank! Haven't lurked over in a while and when I do...
I've been grappling lately with maybe selling my SWB turbo. But parting with it is noting compared to you and your truck.
Good luck with it all and please stick around some. You're contributions would be sorely missed...
