great weekend had by all

we had minimal breakage, I only found out half way

home that I have either done a pinion or gearbox

I'll find out tomorrow.

Hypo drove well and drove hard with no damage

Wizbin broke a cv on Saturday on his last event

replaced it and came out on Sunday

done some high scoring events only to have another cv shatter

2 events short with no reserve

Fourwheelin went hard aswell

letting the zuuk have a lay down twice on the one event

this is my first event on day 2 and i waited like 2 or more hours 4 my first drive and i think that the hypolux was sleepy from waiting :D

i think i wood have driven this hole had i had put my front locker in first attempt but after a few back-ups and forward motions i just got lower and lower into the hole and then coz the gq tank has the pickup in the middle of the tank and i had only a 1/4 tank of fuel i ran out and it stalled :x

how was the yellow shirt (wank recovery) brigade??

Oh where do we start with the recovery brigade...
Let me just say that some of the guys where excellent, but most of them had no FARKEN idea.
one of my mates in a shorty mav with a 6.2 v8 chev came so close to rolling it on event 4 it was'nt funny.the rig was only just sitting there and the recovery guys said "don't move we want some pics"so they where running around taking happy snaps instead of getting a strap onto the car to stabalize it,cause if it go,there was nothing to stop it from tumbling about 5 or 6 times down to the bottom. Then one of the nobs wanted to put a strap around the bull bar and just tie it a knot instead of putting onto the recovery point. :bad-words:

yeah i know what you mean. im a memeber in the tlcc just to use the land that they own!! not bad value for 130 bucks a year to use willowglen when ever you want.

but the yellow shirt brigade are a bunch of wanks, they put out an email on friday arvo asking if anyone could come and assist the recovery team!! so any joe blow with no idea could have been out there trying to do recoveries!!

but once again you come across these types of people in any clubs..

Open is between modified and outlaw, it drives the same tracks as outlaw but the points are worked out differently for the overall points.
