to be honest it's a job yet to be done :oops:
in the end I decided to get rid of the weak mounting
and got 2 sturdy plates (weld-on kit,you'll see) by Equi*e 4x4...
I will post pics sooner or later it may be a source of inspiration
for those interested...

I would've much preferred a DIY solution but lack of time
forced me to get a kit off the shelf...

BTW,it's still in the garage, and will probably be ready between
September/Oct...depending on my fabricator...
