Hey everyone Jodie here Mike's partner from Clayton's Racing, just been told to update you all on the Ateco we left camp at 7.45pm and the briefing was just starting. Mike and Spoony went for a look at the tracks for Friday night a bit muddy but they reckon that everyone will drive them the only reason that they will need to winch is if something goes wrong. Anyway will update all tomorrow in relation to how everyone is going. :)

Sorry for the poor listing on the scores but anyways you know the boys are doing good coming 17th & 19th. Neither of them had any breakages or needed winching last night. They seem happy with that. Anyways let you all know later on today what is happening with results and breakages. :)

little bit of an update, saw bits of SS 6 8 and a lot of 9 today.
no real carnage that I saw, the black landy ute was doing awesomely. smiths doing well.
on SS9 sandy was in 3 wd, drivers side front was stuffed somehow, he had to whinch the first hill that everyone else drove, hence he wasnt doing too well. the 2 claytons towing trucks I saw did well on 9.

Looks like it'll be another On Track 1 & 2 if the boys can keep it together

Was there last year & Birdy's GQ looked as in good nic when I seen it a couple of days after the event as it did before Friday nights first stages, can't say the same for Andrew

Andrew probably found it a lot cheaper this year to nav for Birdy than drive after last years effort with the rollover Friday night & his tree rub'n on the Sunday, great to watch though

Hi all, Mike here. A quick post, been working on the car here in the paddock. We did the four stages last night and six today. Tracks are great fun, been a change to drive in some, well lots of mud, a change from dust. Been some challenging stages, lots of slippery hills and some fun tight drives through the scrub. Spoony, Mani, Ross and I have got through the day with no DNF's and no major damage. I did a brake line half way through a stage but got to the end using a handbrake, and both cars had some altinator problems from the mud, with spoony driving a mud hole that we don't think many cars got through. The old hilux has done well in some stages as well showing its form for a shi.....box hehe. Normy is out due to dizzy problems. Laurie had a DNF due to a tree ending up underneath his vehicle tearing out his batterys cables for the winch. Our group today was us, spoony, Phil Swindle(Mani's old truck) Jeff Redmend, and a white gq, cant think of his name, a top bunch of guys, had some great laughs. Placings have just been put up, will race across and grab them and post them soon. Cheers
