GQ SWB / Ute body edit Resale value.

Post by CWBYUP »

So the body on my GQ LWB wagon is stuffed and I'm just looking at options of what to do to it.

Its got a good 4.2T/D engine so scrapping it isnt an option.

I have two things I'm looking at,

1 buy a SWB body and chop into extra cab or try and buy a already done E/C.

2 buy a ute body and bolt that on.

I'm wondering what sort of prices these two go for as i cant seem to find them that easy.

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers Nick

id stick with a LWB body and get the 9" out, it would probably be the easiest with mounts etc..
i think cap51z might have a cheap body for sale?

The only problem with chopping one is that tommorrow I start a new job with no COMPANY CAR :bad-words:

Still I think its the way to go.

I'll check e-bay out, Would be nice to buy a built one though

Cheers Guys Nick

Only problem is it's in Vic, but here was the one I saw. They're always popping up on there.
