I'm not sure the switches control the solenoids directly - I believe they go through an ECU, which also drives the dash lights.

Either way, the switch in question would be the 2wd/4wd switch, but I don't know which one that is.

if the wiring dia is correct for my model(dia in tech info) then yes its the 2wd/4wd switch..this i know..but which one is it??

will take some pics tomorrow, maybe that will help identify the one..

i can manually make it all work by giving the solenoids an earth so i know the problem is wiring to switch/switch problem..

On a super select t/case you have 5 detent switches.
3 at the back =
- brown (centre diff lock position) - separate detent ball & spring
- black (4wd position switch) - separate detent ball & spring
- white (high/low switch) - separate detent ball & spring
2 at the front =
- brown (centre diff locked state switch) - built in spring loaded ball
- black (2/4wd switch) - built in spring loaded ball
The colours are the actual tops of the switches when installed.
I believe you will be after the black one at the front of the t/case.
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"
