Re: Motor bike into back of 73 cruiser
bundera has about the same leg room as a hilux! - the bundera has more head room though. a 75 series ute has exactly the same leg room as a 73 series which is about the same as a bundera. a Middy is not really long enough to put a bike in unless you do like bj says and take the passenger seat out.Gibonator wrote:I dont really want to get a ute cause im to tall for one as far as leg room goes, sick of my bundera n towing a trailer everywhere..... what i have been thinking latly is buying a 73 n doing the soft top thing or just getting a troopy with rusted gutters and chopping the roof, what are your thoughs

Not true. I own a midi and have driven a 75 ute. The problem with the ute is that you cant get the seat back far enough because of the back wall. Obviously this is not a prob in the midi.dumbdunce wrote:bundera has about the same leg room as a hilux! - the bundera has more head room though. a 75 series ute has exactly the same leg room as a 73 series which is about the same as a bundera.Gibonator wrote:I dont really want to get a ute cause im to tall for one as far as leg room goes, sick of my bundera n towing a trailer everywhere..... what i have been thinking latly is buying a 73 n doing the soft top thing or just getting a troopy with rusted gutters and chopping the roof, what are your thoughs

they have identical seats on the same mountings - how can the leg room be any different?midi73 wrote:Not true. I own a midi and have driven a 75 ute. Dont know really. Maybe it was (been a little while since I drove one) that to get it back far enough to get the leg room you have to have the seat back so far forward your head is nearly in your lap. I know that I cant drive in them comfortably.dumbdunce wrote:they have identical seats on the same mountings - how can the leg room be any different?midi73 wrote:Not true.
