***LOGAN DISTRICTS EXTREME NOV NIGHT RUN***
Moderator: evanstaniland
WOW!!!!!
What a awesome night!!!!!!!!!!
A HUGE thanks to the LOGAN 4x4 CLUB for putting on such a great event!!!!!!!!!!
We met heaps of great people and did some awesome wheeling!
The highlight of the night for me was CP 1 and of course CP 4.
Cp 1 looked hard and when we got there a big 60 series was having all sorts of problems, Dave (Beebee) was the first to have a go and nearly did it in one hit, we had to winch (no one drove this stage) the rest of us got to the same poit and got snatched up by dave!!!
The rest of the Night was unbelievable great stages and very challenging.
CP 4 was MUD but GAZ (toymad) and i had a go!
We were the last car for the night and put on one hell of a show!!
When we got there they had just finished pulling a cruiser out , so in we go "hey POS how deep do you think it is"......."FARKS me but i think its to late to turn around NOW ". We go all the way to the end where there was a 3 foot vertical climb out. Thanks to BRAD (long wheel base zuki with BJ's old Boggers) he put us on a good line. WOW we nearly mad it, second go and gaz is NEARLY swiming in the mud POS STYLE. The lux was about 2 inches of being classed as a FULL FLOP!!!! (there was plenty of flashes so i hope someone from this site got some pics)
Farking great fun though!!!
Also VRC boards "OUTERLIMITS" and "AREA54" how cool was that!!!!!!!!
Once again THANKS to the LOGAN CLUB for a great night!!!!!
P.S i was a bit disapointed that there was NO CARNAGE in our team!!

Awsome night guy's
Our team had a great night, Scott drove really well ( full sick ) or it may have been his navie Troy . Humphey gave the double ledge a good go, before digging the ledge another foot deeper before i had a try. Had a good variety of tracks to try. Just dont like the mud I hope someone got some photo's ( by the way can anyone send me the photo's please ) Adrian is used to ending up like that ( fark nows why we didn't go over) not good when you feel your about to flop & your sitting there watching the water at your window sill.
I have to thank my navie Adrian
Was a great night & a big thumbs up to the Logan club.
We will be back
Pics,Pics, Pics, wish troy had his camera there.

A big THATS TOPS to the Logan 4x4 club for putting on a well organised run, many thanks to the checkpoint people for staying around late (the outerlimits crew were the last rigs through each stage).
As mentioned, I navved for 83 LUX, man he drove well. Then this one time, on one stage, he had the front passenger wheel 3 foot off the ground, rear drivers deep in the rut, balanced, fed the power on smoothly and drove it with the front passenger wheel in the air for about 4 metres, the things you see when you don't have a camera...
Carnage? I bent the chassis of the 83 lux with my hands and a snatch strap , my backpack got dirty , and I lost my wallet...
Next time I'll make extra pancakes for you Scott.

Congratulations to the Logan Club and the organisers for a great night!!!
We had a great time, the observation points were interesting, we didn't attempt CP1, didn't have a winch, we were 2nd car through there, would have been great to see a few cars do this stage. CP2 was a great hill, almost made it to the top, just a couple of metres short, ended up sideways in the rut, our mate made it to the top without a worry. A couple of guys in a Bundera were following us around (never been on a night run before) made this CP very interesting, biggest wheel lift I have ever seen (sure hope he bought his brown undies with him). CP3 made it on 3rd attempt, watched a zook do it before us, amazing drive. CP4 tried to drown Patrol, had to get pulled out, couldn't reverse back out through the trees, spent all day Sunday stripping the car and drying it out. Fantastic night, got lost a couple of times, we weren't the only ones, met a few people coming down the same track, looked more like a bike track though, full of lantana, arrows were missing, drove around in circles looking for the spookboards that weren't there, LOL. Got home around 3,
