height of a 80 series with lift

Post by piglet »

Can someone please tell me the height of a 80 series with a 2"lift plus big muddies. I need to build a new carport for my 80 series I've just bought and would like a roller door on it but worried it won't fit after I put the lift on and bigger tyres so I need someone who has lifted their cruiser to tell me what the overall height is please. Need to get the carport done before I get the lift or it will have to sit out in the street and I've already had one car stolen, vandalism to another and broken into another, so I don't want to leave it out in the street for too long.
Thanks Toni

2m or 2.1m or 2.8m or 3.7m all depends on the big muddies

Why not measure your car height, add 2" for the suspension lift then add whatever extra the bigger tyres you want is to that and then a couple of inches for safety.

My 80 with 2" lift and 285/75/16's(roughly 33") makes it under 2.0 mtrs easily. But I went 2.1 with my rollerdoor so I can make it in with roof racks when I use them  , but I can't drive in with anything on the roof racks!

my 5 cents...
