Hi ALL - i have GQ swb with 2" susp lift only. Currently running Bridgestones 31x10.5 on sunny 15x7 (they were on when i bought it)
So the time has come to replace the treads and of course i want something bigger. i have been reading and researching and it seems that i really have to buy sunny 15x8 and 33x12.5, but BFG make a A/T 33x10.5.
What i would like to know form all the GQ boys out there is, Whats the bettr option?
Im not going to raise the 4b any further and was worried that 33x12.5 would rub etc so thought 33x10.5 may be the better option. This would also save me $$ on new rims that i dont need. Any advice, comment or remarks would be appreciated so i can stop wondering what to do
Thanks for the input, what i was wondering was will the wider 33x12.5 rub on the guards etc as i have only 2" lift. If the general consensus is that they are run on lots of GQ's with out problem then thats fine.
i was looking at the BF Goodrich A/T tyre, any comments or advice

Most rubber is very good these days. Saying that, I have always been a BFG person so I would probably go for them. Don't know much about the new bridgestone duelers but I know the old ones weren't the greatest. You really have to think about what sort of 4wding you are going to be doing what sort of miles you mostly do whether on dirt or on the Highway. ATs are a very good compromise for sand and dirt driving, however as the tread blocks aren't as strong as an MT if you are going to be climbing steep rocky hills or doing lots of kms on gibba plains you will see the tread blocks tear away and look pretty worn.
I was running 32x12.5 mtrs on cruiser offset rims and never got close to scrubbing on 2" lift. You will be right with 33's if that's what you want but I have seen 35" at's run with 25mm spacer and diff spaced forward so 33's will be fine.
2'' springs with 33's Just take the standard flares off and alls sweet
they rub on the chassis rail at the back abit but nothing dramatic , belt the sharp edge flat with a hammer to stop it cutting the inside of the tyre
I have had the 33 x 10.50 on both my GQ and now GU and much prefer them over a 12.50. The tyre footprint is more usuable I find as the 33 x 12.50 is basically a square footprint and tends to not work as well as the longer narrower footprint of the 10.50.
The 10.50 also fits better, handles better on road and I reckon works much better in mud than a 12.50
