has anyone ever bobbed a 2nd gen 4 runner, or know if it is possible or impossable.

Of course its possible.
Don't know of any that have been done. Have you checked out pirate? Shorely somebody there has done one.

His was a gen 1 runner, but infact was a surf.
Dave I think you've over looked that a gen 2 hilux, is a gen 1 runner.

So that makes a gen 2 runner the same shape as yours and my hiluxs'
