Guys,

Will an EFI GQ instrument cluster bolt straight into a diesel GQ?

There is one on EBay.

Well it did so for me, for me only the oil gauge doesn't work as you'll need to wire that up but the rest did.
Mine was for a 89 Diesel and used a 90 Petrol.
Shouldn't be much different if yours is a later model though.

What about the glow plug lamp and the water in fuel lamp.

Were they already in the cluster.

Well I never really worried about the glow plug personally.
I swapped some of the little plugs out of the back from the broken one into the new one.
And the same applys to the water in fuel lamp, didn't even realize there was one on there :P

for the same model car it shouldnt be a problem i dont think.
the looms should be the same if not similar,
things like glow plug lights etc... shouldnt work as long as the plugs on the other end of the loom arent connected to anything theat they shouldnt be
