What rate coils are people using in the front of hilux's, i currently have 2" 80 series front springs and they are a tad too high and way to stiff. anyone have any other suggestions, other than custom made.

Yep. bundy coils. People put 80 coils into bundys to lift them, so bundy in yours should drop it and soften it.

OME851 are rated 220 lb/in ( the most soft coils for 80 series front in OME selection )

OME872 with 190lb/in it for RJ70 maybe it's that you need ..

I have found the best coils to use for front are standard 79 series.
I too tried bundera 2 ".
Also ran standard 80 series and where good but diameter was a little too big and used to hit the chasis rails.
80 would work well if I set it up to suit (80 towers) but I set it up with a bundera front using the towers.

So 79 series is the go , for me anyway , very happy.

i fail to see how giving someone advice without using capital letters and posting your web address and phone number is spam... the problem is you have to spam it all up instead of giving people advice

i use standard 100 series coils. pretty soft compared to leaf springs.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
