I believe the m/p and the jt2 are in two different catergories. As the jt2 is a really cool extreme mudder If you can afford the jt2 go for them the side lugs are extremely big, cool and noisy The M/P's are alot cheaper and less chunky. Cool all the same and shouldnt put as much stress on stock suzi axles
I run m/p tekkers on my zook. Just a skinny Extreme Trekker. Best tyre for them in my opinion. Give heaps of diff clearance, good approach/departure angles, able to spin them in the mud and you can still turn the steering wheel because there so narrow. Look pretty good too...

I think the loss of stability will be more than made up for by the narrow tyre. Suzuki's love very narow tyres in most victorian conditions - hard but slick muddy surfaces.

I guess you are referring to the MP trekker? (which is 7.50 16)?
Anything from 4.5" stock sierra to 6.5" V6 vitara. I would say the same for an actual 8.5.
In the do as I say and not as I do category.... I am running 9" wide swampers on 4.5" rims ATM and although I could never recommend it they seem happy enough, and are actually quite quiet on the road too. They are crowning like crazy though, but I don't really see that as a big problem on a cross ply tyre.

we had a guy on a trip 2 weeks ago on small rims (wouldn't be more the 5.5inch) he lost the tire off the bead at 12psi. The tires were way stiffer at this pressure then ideal for off roading. so I would recommend factoring in some beadlocks or tubes if you decide to get them.

I have spoken to 2 guys running these tyres (mainly for off road use) and they recon they are a heaps softer tyre, Havent tried them myself so I am only repeating wht i've been told.

Mongrels are soft - they are based on a radial carcass (they're a remould) so have the soft sidewalls of a radial.
soft sidewalls help a tyre stay on a rim, which is where swampers have an advantage over a simex.
Only 10.5 wide sizes though in the mongrels.
Christover has been running the retread versions for ages now and they work well on his car and do bag very well.

Chuck some tubes in em , run down to 7psi and they still don t bag out on a zook! Havent tried em any lower, but I reckon you could probably run em at 5 if you have power steering.

I thought he was down around 8psi, !2psi makes it worse. I suggested to him to go and grab some Simex heavy duty tubes and chuck them in. Also his suspension seemed so stiff.
