another vote for intercooler.
you can pick up intercoolers really cheap these days, why not do both?

Both will allow you a performance increase.
But the intercooler will improve the engine efficiency while lowering EGT's and possibly saving you fuel.

The LPG has the potential to screw things up big time. Personally, I'm avoiding that. But it used to be quite appealing.

Try these guys. I have had a good chat with them. I think it is a good system and wont screw anything up.

Go intercooler first, and get it all set up and working well, then get the gas put on and tuned.
The better the performance of a turbo engine, the better the gas systems seem to work.
The only reason I havent done these things to mine yet is because I dont have the money to do it.
Cheers.

O.K so if Iam going inter then would a rex topmount be enough.Cos I not a big fan off the front mount due to the extra length for the plumbing.

I guess that depends on if you want to look cool or go fast.

Seriously though, the front mounts allow a significantly larger intercooler and will probably also allow lower boost at the turbo compared to the smaller bonnet mount intercoolers for the equivilent boost at the engine. It means the turbo doesn't have to work as hard, the engine runs cooler and you make more power. I guess its a balance between engine results and have really short hoses in your engine bay.

well I have had a look on ebay and a $250 will get me a big enough one.I guess the same for hoses and a boost gauge.I'll put it infront of the radiator or infront of the fan :?:

What type of driving .. ? off road performance of HW performance ..

LPG for off road and Intercooler for HW driving .. both if you can afford and get the better of 2 worlds ..

Get a Pyro and Boost gauge and tune up your fuel !

In front of the radiator - thats where its most efficient and the radiator in most 4by's will enough cooling capacity in it to run behind the intercooler.
