I thought it would be more involved than just winding up torsion bars to be able to fit 33" tyres.

I thought you may need new arms, diff spacers etc.
There is also the rear which you need to lift, new springs etc.

Mates got 31peddes on his 2in body lift and they just touch so maybe a bit of love with the sledge hammer to the inner guard and they'll go
plenty of parts on the bench

If you've got Toyota flares on it you'll need a 2.5-3" body lift, torsion bar wind, longer shackles in the back and a bit of trimming of the front flares.

Would be better off to get a 4" lift if you're running offset rims with the 33s imo.

Assuming you're wanting to run 33x12.5 tires that is. A 33x10.5 shouldn't cause too much dramas with just a 2" body lift or so and a bit of trimming.

My 32x11.5x15 on cruiser off set just touch the back of the front flare on about 3/4 lock, I have 2" body lift and have only wound the torsion bars up about 10mm.

I had a mates 285x75x16 (nearly 33") on his patrol off set and they touched a bit more, Rear gaurds will be fine. You could get a 1" ball joint spacer kit.

just did it to a 2000 dual cab. 33x12.5 GY MTRs

2"BL, wound up torsion bars, cut a little bit of the front guards, had to bash the seam out of the mud guards.

2" body lift and a bfh will see 33x10.5 fit or if you want 12.5 wide then you will need 2" suspension lift also. You will need to remove your front mudflaps and again do some inner guard trimming and hammering. I am running 35s with 50mm body lift and 40mm suspension lift.

id say go with a bodylift and winding up the front end.you may need to belt the seems under the guards.if not depending on what you want to spend snake racing advertise there bolt on 4 inch lift to fit 33s not a problem.and in the picture of one it looks shit hot.But id go with the cheapest easiest option strait up..........cheers matt
