I'm in the process of replacing the alternator on my 1989 3L.
It has has a rear mounted vacuum pump, just checked the new one and the
belts are 11mm wide instead of 13mm on mine.
Took it back to the shop and they said 90% run a 11mm belt and the other 10% the 13mm one. They swapped the pulleys which is fine just that every where i look there is no mention of an 11mm belt anywhere.
So is this true that there is a difference in belt sizes on a 3L hilux?
