Rough idle

Hi people, I need some advice on my nissan GU 2000 Patrol 3.0l Turbo.
It is occasionly idleing rough once at normal opperating temp. Once i give the accelerator a tap it usually idles ok, but then starts doing it again when sitting still, as usual nisssan cannot help me, your advice would be appreciated.

at a guess proberly EGR valve getting sticky or TPS fault.

i take it no error codes found ?

Na no error codes found, excuse my ingnorance but what is EGR and TPS.

EGR= exhaust gas reticulation. ie emissions control, lets exhaust gas into inlet manifold. known to be unreliable. however not a straight forward thing to block as blocking it causes the variable turbo to over boost.

TPS= throttle position sensor, tells the computer how much gas to put in according to the position of your foot. they can go faulty causing a few weird things.
