anyone got any comments on battery additives like inox? or anything similar?
the main battery in my GU is a few years old and it still starts the car fine etc... but when i have the sterio running without the car running it dies within 10mins. a year ago i could get more than an hour out of it.
i know its not good for the battery to be treated like that etc... but im thinking if i could stick some of that inox stuff in the battery would it help it last a little longer? im planning on a new battery soon anyway but unfortunately at the moment i cant afford it.
and i dont want to go down the snow with a battery that might give me trouble

nah the AUX battery is a deep cycle battery and i havnt been treating that too kindly either
il end up buying a new one soon my bigest concern is being down at the snow and having a battery die completely on me.

Battery manufacturers usually say not to use additives etc to your batteries. IIRC Inox will double? your battery warranty if added to a new battery. I have found it to work well & it has breathed some new life into a tired battery for me. It's a lot cheaper than a new battery. Grab a bottle, add it, and charge the battery - see what happens.
