Hey Guys, Hope someone can clear this up for me, I sent a cheque out in the mail 1 and half weeks ago and sent a few pm's to commitee memebers asking if you have received our entry and payment and to please confirm that you had , I have still have no reply.... Can someone please shed some light on this.

Yep - Hydro assist - DOT approved is OK.

Full Hydro is not allowed under the rules.

I run hydro but will just disconnect it for tough tracks.

hydro assist is street legal as it is power assisted steering, most older trucks had this setup standard or optional, my mates ford D series had it

There is nothing dodgy about Hydro assist on the road. It can be complied. And has been in the past.

Not running hydro assist but maybe next year. Phil didn't do mine. Some little birdie put me onto another guy 1/2 the price of Phil. Will use him again. He also told me that you can get a welded arm approved but the right people have to weld it and check it. Sounded expensive though. Cheaper to import. :D
