My fuel pump is leaking like a sieve, the cost of a replacement is close to $300 has anyone used the after market electric fuel pumps in place ?

I managed to pick up two new VL turbo fuel pumps for $180 each for my TD42, they go nice!

I have just hooked up an electric facet in mine works well.
You can use a fuel pump blanking plate for a 302 windsor if you grind the bottom off.
Nissan wanted $50 for a genuine one.
$6.50 for an aftermarket windsor...............

Hey, was talking about this just last week with Patrolapart in Melbourne. Great guy to deal with - give it a whirl. He had a few in stock.
