electric fuel pump on 4.2 diesel

Post by chips59 »

what is the best way to hook up an electric fuel pump to a 4.2 turbo diesel?
i have a 1lt can, plumbed with two outlets and one inlet. I'm thinking, put pump in line from tank but after filter to bottom inlet, take first outlet that's two thirds the way up, to injector pump and top outlet to return line. does this sound right?

MY setup is from tank to inline electric pump, from there to first water separator-filter (Delphi) then OEM filter and then IP.
