superior engineering Proportioning valve bracket ?

Guys ive been looking at the superior engineering Proportioning valve bracket to suit 3-4 inch lift as i now have 3 inch spring and 30mm spacers in my gq

do i neeed one of these,whats it do etc? as i havent noticed any difference in my braking etc?

Just cut a piece of flat bar and drill holes. I assume to make it longer by 3 inch if you putting in 3 inch lift
