what is the bar off, and what mods did you have to do for it to fit? looks like a bit of a gap between the bar and body?

the ARB bars should fit, however the Coily front grill slopes back slightly so you will get a small gap. They don't look quite right but they do the job fine. You get used to how it looks, most people wouldn't know. I had an Aluminian wide track bar on my coiler.

The bar in the above pic looks like it slopes back like it should. I would imagine the gap is from a body lift.

well we test fitted an ARB wide track bar this arvo, suits the body lines, mounting matches, all be need to do is a minor mod so it will clear the bottom of the grille properly,

Ahh well there you go!

The guy I got it off said it was an arb bar. In fact I even have a reciept for an arb bar.

The gap is from the body lift.

i just got quoted $1340 for a 'stage 2' alloy bar for the zuk... No steps or rails, just the bar!

Um, for that kind of money i could have ~10 goes at fabbing up one (even if i stuffed it 9 times, i would still have money to burn!)

The wreckers will be where i am heading for my next bullbar!

I've got an East Coast Bullbars (ECB) Adventure alloy winch bar on the front of my coily. It's alloy but it's at least as tough as steel without the weight. I've got a Warn M6000 winch hanging off the front, I do a lot of four wheel driving, I've been know to push trees and rocks out of the way with it ;) and I've never had any issues with it at all.

Hope this helps.

well we ended up pickin up a Wide Track winch bar, we gave it a bit of a nip with the drinder, and bolted on pretty well, lines up nicely as well,

sister is happy with it, also fitted up UHF and simple pioneer CD player for her, as old tape deck was playing up,

will get pics of the bar up soon

Just to bring back a dead thread, while poking around for a winch bar for my Coily I came across this http://www.irvinbullbars.com.au/cgi-bin ... .jpg&id=55 so thought I might chuck it in here for future reference.

2 of the pics show the minor shaping we did around the grille area, used factory bolt holes in the bar and chassis, chassis has crush tubes for extra strength
