14k-15k with the right buyer, but more like 12k as stated - its a buyers market now.. GUs are coming down in price faster than a brides nighty, thus GQ's are worth fawk all now.

you seem to thikn its worth lots more with your 'mates rates' statement

Your probably better off flogging all the bits seperately, adn the car for $11k stock

Mate just bought an earlier model GU 4.2 for $20k with bar, winch and cargo barrier 220,000klms. Of course a new model wouldnt be cheap... but they are out there.
Look at 4.5 petrols, now $15k range.

So what do you think your GQ is worth?

Dunno, I have had it so long I have no idea. If my mate does not buy it I might do as you you said and sell the bits off
I thought that given the experience with patrols on here that recent purchases by members might be a bit of a guide. Anyone bought anything similar recently ? What did you pay ?

i bought an auto-diesel '94 GQ 4.2l (non-turbo) with 155k clean straight body, immaculate inside and out, bull bar/tow bar for $15k about 2 months ago if that's any guide

not cheap but was prepared to pay more for a good vehicle
