put a 2" BL in it. If you have the right offset rims (ROH track 2's - they have vitara offset which is correct for a coiler) you shouldn't have any more contact than can be fixed with a hammer.
Cutting the firewall is a MAJOR HASSLE. It can be done a number of ways depending on how much work you are willing to put in, but the box section in behind the actual firewall vertical seam is difficult to deal with and put back nicely.
The nicest way to do it is to unpick the firewall right around this area, pull it out the way, cut the whole box section vertically at about the speaker hole location (yes, through the outer sill) take out the bit you want, then weld it all back and stretch the firewall back into position. We did this with Greg's black car and you wouldn't pick it had been cut. (we took 65mm out of the sill..front and back)
Sorry, don't have any photos, but i still vote that unless you have a lot of time and skills with welding sheetmetal, do the BL before you cut. If you rivet sheet over the hole you cut etc, it will look hack, likely leak and if the tyre touches it, it will rip out.

that's a coiler running 2.5" spring lift (at almost full droop in the photo) with a 2" BL. No tyre contact with the firewall with either 31 10.5 pedes or MTR's on ROH track 2 rims.

Luke one of the guys in the club has done this
Forgot who it was though
try jogging my memory at the next meeting
Are these for the 'low rider' LWB?
Have you considered moving your axle forward
Just drill the spring plates 40mm forward (I think it was 40mm)

MMMMmmmmmm, I don't think drilling a hole in the spring plates of a COILY will do much to fix this problem.fool_injected wrote:Luke one of the guys in the club has done this

Dunno - stock ROH trak II in 15X7- ROH only do one offset in this fitment for suzuki.saffrett wrote:wats the offset on the rims
They are the same as vitara fitment. More backspacing than leaf sierra. I think specs are on the ROH website.
