Both CV's are now back to stock, i've never broken 1 in my life and i've now broken both county CV's i put in
Noojee navnite
And today, revlimiter in all gears, low range
big muddy ass hill and pop, locked the wheel and steering, dropped the end cap off and got tugged up by a tuff tojo
steering kinda of unlocked and slowly drove home
Wanted: Car trailer or beaver tail truck, let me know what you got

Were they the genuine or the aftermarket ones?
Usually the genuine ones break the cage like your 2nd pic, and the aftermarket copies shear the stub very neatly - like your 1st pic.
Looks like you need some longfield or ashcroft CVs!

I always run the stock RR ones and so far I've never broken one (broke the smaller 1-piece units in my 93 'Aquarangie' once).

Don't know, They have no markings on them....I think

I think the genuine ones are made by GKN (and may have it stamped/etched on the bell)
