Just read your from USofA, the engine bay on yours is a lot different to what we have in AUS. Correct me if I'm wrong but are there two little vacuum valves on the right hand side guard (sitting in drivers seat) ?
Anyhow, the whole reason for this is to convert my 62 (petrol) into a 61 (turbo diesel)... the engine is in but the entire wiring loom has to be changed over including all the vacuum stuff, and i'm a little concerned cos there is absolutely no accurate information to be found (Ive even got the Toyota vacuum diagrams) !
Appreciate the pics you guys have put up, they have helped a lot, but I think I need more and it would be good to post them for others going through this problem aswell. So if you have any more could you either email or post thanks.

All of my 12HT photos are in this album:

"landcruiser012.jpg" shows the two valves you are talking about behind the air cleaner but not in enough detail.
If you can tell us exactly what pics you want i can grab some for you tomorrow or on tueday as one of my mates has an import 60 with 12HT.
Cheers.

Great pics mate, I need a pic of the Right hand (sitting in drivers seat) guard. There should be two small vacuum solenoid things there, i just don't know what they do or what they look like
thanks

OKi doke...sorry it has taken so long...
I think these are the two solenoid things in question...the hose is tee'd off just below them and a single hose runs to the part shown in the 2nd photo.

Below is just an overall photo...I don't know what happened to the air cleaner...its well melted but.

They are possibly pressure switches for the operation of the on-boost and over-boost lights which are usually located in the tachometer...not too sure but? However they are fed with air from the intake cross-over pipe.
