trying to fit 36's

Post by [gubeaut] »

I'm going to put 36 inch swampers on my gu ute and want to know what my options are as i had a set of 35 inch claws and they only JUST touched the front mud flaps.I was thinking of getting a set of radius arm spacers from superior alignments as obviously the diff comes back when you lift them anyway.as i only have a 3 inch lift at the moment and no real need to up it just yet i dont know if this is my best option.

remove front mudflap and get arm spacers.
or drop boxes if you wish to fix your castor/gain flex at the same time.
you will have to extend the rear bupstops.
but everything else should be fine

wish gq's had gu wheel arches

I have a gu ute, only way and the easist way to clear 36's is to go body lift. 2" kit cheap as, and can install your self if you need to. i have 36 centerpedes, and they only clear by 10 - 15mm with 3"suspension and 2" body. See how you go, everyones different though
