Heard about jacking up a rear wheel, wrapping a rope/snatch strap around it, and pulling it. Any one actually tried it :? Do you pull it while its in gear, or get it spinning and then throw it into gear?
I will spot you a $50 until your working to not do this and buy a battery.

Rocky you've got a PM mate, I have a spare battery you can borrow and keep in the truck until you get it sorted

I've tried the reverse vehicle up ramps (and these weren't small car ramps either rather heavy duty buggers) and believe me it doesn't work :D

depends on ya vehicle and technique.. it can def be done. takes a lot less effort to rollstart a diesel than many ppl believe...

and if ya compression is down, its even easier :D
