Finally decided to bite the bullet and get the 35's, even though some people said i couldn't fit them. Lucky i didn't listen to them, as i had a blast! Tyres were amazing compared to the sh!tty little 31's i had previously! (obviously).
Here's a few of my favourite pics from Sunday at Gembrook.
OH WHEELY?
RAWR!
Car has 3" Dobbinson springs and wombat shocks (42mm). Apart from that it's pretty standard. The 35's fit pretty easy. Clearance is tight in a couple of areas, probably about half an inch. The only scrubbing i get is in the back wheel arch, when it's at absolute full flex.
They *just* touch the top of the inside of the guard. It's not enough to stop the wheel from spinning so it's really not an issue. I put them through a pretty tough days out, and they were fine.
Down the track, i will get a 1" body lift just to help out, but really, you can get away with it pretty easily.
Cheers.
