Snorkels and turbos

Post by BenG »

I have just bought a 2.8 Turbo Diesel Gu and i dont know much about the mechanics of it.

I am thinking of putting in a snorkel and was wondering if the turbo acquires its air from the same location as the intake for the engine and therefore from the snorkel?

And what would happen if i was to go and get water on/in the intercooler?

Hope someone can help.
Thanks

Mate the Turbo is the air intake for the engine.

as said snorkel turbo is the goods

as for gettin IC wet - outside is fine.. you dont want water getting inside the IC, cause diesels + water = fawked.
