hell yeah there good, I got 1 and works great. Has 40 uhf channels and 20 progrrable channels, and cell call so you can call your mates if there radio has that feature. As yet i have not programmed them but i am going to do it. i've never had a problem with it yet. Hop this helps a little.

Yep I gots one too. No dramas with it at all. They're a discontinued line though I think so you may want to factor that into the purchase cost if it matters to you.

They are a good radio, nice and clear (got it with the GME 4.5db AE4705 antenna).

They haven't been discontinued

i thought they stopped the TX4400 and went to the newer water/dust proof TX4600 or something along those lines, which ould be great for a fourby,

As well as being a great product, they are designed and made in Australia by an Australian company, and that got to be good.

Yes they are great, even compared to the smaller GME TX3200 released at the same time they have all the extra features, I've seen and heard them both and glad these have squelch and priority channel scanning as well which is a big plus. (Priority channel scan allows you to monitor your primary channel you use and not miss your mates chatting in convoy whilst scanning all the other channels for general traffic)

No problems with it and a top unit!
