Saw the Little Red bitch compete last year with 35" ET's. He wasn't shy and he made it all the way on the stairway. One possessed driver!

I was at the Nissan trials on Saturday and saw this Rangie in action. I only saw him drive 2 events, and he seemed to drive both relatively easily where similarly modified cars were struggling. He was the only one I saw drive the big log on one event.

It's owned by Bob Watling from Southern tablelands 4wd club. It has GQ diffs, GQ gearbox and GQ t-case. I'm not sure, but I think it's still running a Rangie motor. He has a 5 link in the front, longer trailing arms in the back and what appears to be the standard A-frame. I think he was running 38" swampers.

I looked over this car a fair bit, because I'd love to build something similar. He'll be competing at Woodpecker too, so I might take my tape measure along.

Anybody want to buy an 85 4 door, engineered with Holden V8 and Turbo 400 being fitted with GQ diffs at the moment. 4 inch lift custom highmount bar. It is red and registered.

PM me, I'm in the states for another 2 weeks but will be back in VIC soon

When he did that run at the Nissan trials earlier in the year, he also spat a spring out pretty early on, and then just after punctured a tyre before continuing over the top. He was actually called as being out at about the 70 point mark or something similar to the crowds outrage, considering the closest effort that I saw was Antunac who slide off the top of the cars at the top. Obviously Antunac scored more points.

He got it all together and drove back to the paddock with a pfsst, pfsst, pfsst.
