Swampers are available in 31, and i think a few sizes under that.
Check the interco website - http://www.intercotire.com/site.php

You can get Ag tyres small that are super aggresive, they have paddles on them about 4" deep.
Pretty sure they come in sizes around 31-32"

I was thinking about a set of Mongrels, but the 31's are only retreads i'd have to go 32's to get the Monoform type,
and i think that would be too tall for me poor ol zook

Simex centipedes (extreme trekkers) are what the 'mongrel' is based on. Available in 29,30 and 31" i believe. But as lay80n said, check the Interco site.

The 31 and 32 mongrel are same size. They both measure 31 exactly. (most 31's only measure 30)
It's just to differentiate between the retread and the remould.
I have the retread mongrels, very happy with them.
But my zook is light, so I chose retread for tyre flex, heavier cars may benefit from the thicker sidewalls of the remoulds.

Can get 1" treaded mud tyres that are 23" in size. No idea of the name now, but we had a set of these wicked looking tyres on our hay baler (of all things) years ago. They had !! serious !! tread on them and would fit straight onto the likes of a non-lifted Subey etc

Have often thought about buying a set of 28" Swampers for me Brumby, but at $450.00 each a few years ago, I couldn't be bothered.

Thanks Christover

I didn't look at the overall diameter nor did i think of the retreads as more flex in the tyre
I guess i've alway thought of retreads as something to stay away from.
But as these would be purely for offroad i have to change my way of thinking.

As i don't know much about retreads, how do you find the Mongrels as far as beed seal?
Would they fit ok on a zook with 2"BL & 2" Sus?
BTW I'll be getting gears before i get these tyres

Thanks Pep

p.s. Sorry for all the Q's, but once my current muds are no good and i buy some
new offroad tyres there gonna last me a very long time, so i wanna make sure i get the right ones.

I used to be scared of retreads, too, as I used to see many shreded ones on side of highway. But tyre tech has improved these days. I still would say no to retreads on a heavy truck.
I bought two then bought another two later. 2 of them never bead leak, the other 2 did. I guess it depends on the carcass used. I fitted hd simex tubes, no more problem.
Mine has 2" bl 40mm ome springs, and a tad longer shackles. I needed to do some cutting to fit them on front only, but I have wide offset rims which makes it harder to fit.
I have bumpstop spacers front only.
You can fit more tyre if you sacrifice up travel.
Anything can be fitted, if you want to work or spend, but weigh up fors and againsts, as every gain comes with a loss somewhere.

There are of course much better off road tyres than mongrels, but you get what you pay for, and I'm happy.
Being on radial carcasses means better than expected road handling (tho not great of course)

A m8 of mine has 4x TSL swampers at 31x10.5x15 for sale (not on rims).

$500, but u would needa organise freight from Geelong.

They are at 80% + tread easily

Thanks for the offer VKYOOT, but i'm only researching ATM, as i need to get gears first (hopefully by xmas).
But if he still has them in 6 month, we'll talk, cause i'd be very interested then.
