arb locker or truetrack in the front?

hello guys/ladies
I already have a rear arb locker with upgraded half-shafts and etc. But now I want a front "locker". Cost isn't an issue I just want to know what is best for my needs. I just do some serious greenlaning nothing more.
I'm thinking about truetrack or another arb.
when i put arb i will upgrade my shafts and cv's but i know you cant use always 100% lockers when you want and need traction in the front and with truetrack this isnt a problem its always working and it doesn't harm the weak mechanical parts of a defender. Now which one is the best option?
By the way i do every year 25000km's (20000 on road) a year with my defender.

A selectable locker is better. However, IMO, if you need to ask, then you don't "need" a front locker.

Let me ask it this way. What things are you doing that you feel the need for a front locker?

not sure if the sudden engagement/disengagement type are really suitable. But that would depend on the user I guess.

I'd be worried that under full power the sudden action of an auto type locker would smash something because of shock loading - eg., a CV.

Anyone heard of problems like this?

run the TT that and locked rear will get you to 99% of places you wish to go and with a bit of good wheel placement :lol: and driving skils the last 1% wil be done. :lol: :lol: :lol:

a true track is an LSD not an auto locker.

i run a TT in front and a detroit in the rear of my td5 90, coupled with the traction controll is a great combo.

They don't do lock rite's for rovers, they are an insert and the rover carrier and cross pin would have buckleys chance of holding up to it ;)

True Tracs according to Ritters website are 1200 plus fitting.
Might as well get an air locker for that price although i do believe the True Tracs to be a little easier on the weak Rover front ends.

If money isnt an issue why wouldnt you go an ARB locker in the front to with MD half shaft you've got in the rear if you where starting from scratch well then the option are endless
