don't get to techy!! you know the pully on the front of the crank sharft it probably doesn't much harmonising to a 1300 zook motor valve bouncing at 9500 rpm! but hey its got a bit of weight in it what would you call it?
the mods was only create a key way in it so it would locate on the vitara crank, the sierra crank used a small dowel about 2mm in diameter.
[img] the key at the bottom had to be created so it would locate on the crankshaft.

hey all has any one who has fitted a vitara engine into a sierra found this problem? today I fitted the engine into the car, thanks to ben his kit is just awsome, I found when trying to line the bolt holes up on the engine mounts to the chassis I had to streach the mount to get the bolts in. I thought once the engine was sitting in the bay and even wieght was on both mounts than the bolt holes should line up, now the passanger side mount isn't sitting in its natural position and I feel that tis will break it. the mount was to high.

yeah 1.3 mounts as per benT's intructions you used his kit nicbeer didn't you, maybe its just how it went in all the problems in the instructions and on forum which where mentioned happened except this, thats why the concern. If the mount could go on upside down it would probably work but you have the locating dowel to think about.

Its ok stop looking, Lets just say when you've playing all day and it gets dark its time to go inside. I had left a piece of timber between the gearbox and cross member and this was holding it up. stupid really problem solved might try and start this hybrid motor of suzuki all sorts this arvo.
