Cool, new suspension... BUT THIS?

Hey, the GQ SWB ended up getting a nice new set of +2 inch springs and shockers the other day... but

There is a vibration from the driveshaft between at 40-50 kph and 90-100kph.

What are the options to fixing this?

Get it balanced up?

Dual cardnal?
Don't expect to see my recipe, until I receive my cheque and collection fee

Gear box spacers normally fix the problem. They can be purchased from most suspension places and would be my first option.

its common with shortys.. have a search, dozens of threads on it sadly... some people have gone 5inch lifts with no issues - or so they say, others suffer as you with 2inch...

Thanks for that, yeah its already got gearbox spacers put in...

Hmmm, will start searching... But what do any of you recommend?

How about that tailshaft joint in Dandenong, any good?

Lifts will also emphasise worn universals. Are your uni's a bit worn. I had worn uni's in my Volvo which would vibrate under load from a slow speed. Once the car got under way everything was smooth.

Talk to Greg at smithies outback gear in cranbourne, hes does 16mm longer LOWER arms that match the angles of your uni joints that will stop your vibrations.

Match the angles and youll be right. Also you will have nice big strong lower arms that aint gonna bend like all the Nissan ones do.

Gearbox spacers can work, didnt for me so I got the arms. See how you go but.

Like Bogged said, some people suffer with only 2 inches.
