is there a differance in a std coil and one for electroinc dizzy, and what would happen if you used a std on a elec. dizzy....

well , changed the coil...$50 and no differance.....i wont ask about the leads, coz it might cost me too

The subject of coils and associated modules is complex - but simply a coil is closely matched to its module. Use the wrong coil and you can cook it ( too much current ) or get poor results ( to little current ) etc etc.

I know its a bit unexciting but much damage has been done by experimenting,
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.
